Served as a research mentor within IB 290, working intensively with two selected undergraduate students for six hours per week on a focused topic related to phytoplasma–host associations.
Mentoring activities included training in systematic review methodology, introduction to meta-analytic approaches, guided literature synthesis, and discussion of preliminary results on associations. Students developed skills in critical reading, data organization and scoring, and quantitative reasoning within a real research framework.
